Every month, eKidzCare office teams donate their time to “Meals from the Heart“, a philanthropic opportunity at the Ronald McDonald House (RMH Pittsburgh where volunteers cook a meal for families staying at RMH.

Bicycles for the Holidays

In partnership with Amy Rush Yuhas and the Wilkes-Barre Marine Corps Recruiting Station, eKidzCare received 12 bicycles to gift to eKidzCare kids in the Wilkes-Barre office. Find out more about this amazing donation and the Wilkes-Barre holiday spirit here.

Wyoming Valley Children’s Association 24th Annual Walk-A-Thon

eKidzCare had a wonderful time at the 24th Annual “Do it for the Kids” Walk-a-thon! We got to meet so many great people and help raise money for the Wyoming Valley Children’s Association (WVCA)! Thank you to all who came and helped support this great event!

eKidzCare Greensburg Open House (February 2016)

eKidzCare was extremely excited to hold our first Open House to coincide with the grand opening of our Greensburg Office! We were welcomed to the community by great folks at the Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce, who presented us with a beautiful plaque and ribbon cutting ceremony to kick off the day! Thank you to everyone who came and made our special day even greater.

Ronald McDonald House Ice Cream Social (May 2015)

eKidzCare Meadville was happy to be a part of the Ronald McDonald House Ice Cream Social on May 19th, 2015! eKidzCare and the volunteers helped serve everyone delicious homemade ice cream, which was provided by Casey’s Ice Cream & Candies! Another great event and we can’t wait to help again!

Miracle League

eKidzCare is proud to be a 2015 Miracle League sponsor! On May 9th, 2015, eKidzCare had the opportunity to attend a Miracle League game and give each player a brand new eKidzCare water bottle. On January 14th, 2015 the eKidzCare Team had the opportunity to cook dinner at the Ronald McDonald House. eKidzCare served a taco bar and pizza casserole for the RMH families to enjoy!  We had a great time cooking and enjoyed the company of amazing kids and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House!

Miracle League Holiday Party

eKidzCare was able to donate fruit and a raffle prize for the Miracle League Holiday party hosted at the Woodlands. It was a great day to celebrate the holidays with Miracle League friends! Santa, the Pirate Parrot, and Mister Froggy joined in on the fun!

Halloween Lunch at Ronald McDonald

On October 23, 2014 the eKidzCare Meadville Team had the opportunity to cook lunch at the Ronald McDonald House. eKidzCare setup a taco bar for the RMH families to enjoy! We also dressed up as fairies to get in the Halloween spirit 🙂 We had a great time cooking and enjoyed the company of amazing kids and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House!

Jameson’s Army – Meals from the Heart

eKidzCare joined  Jameson’s Army for their Meals from the Heart Tailgate lunch on Friday! We provided lunch to families and hardworking staff at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Jameson’s Army is a great non-profit dedicated to helping heart families anyway they can! Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Radiothon: WDVE Rocks Children’s

Shelly (Clinical Nurse Liaison) and Katie (Marketing Coordinator) had a great time volunteering at the WDVE Rock Children’s Radiothon. The Radiothon was a great success raising $626,254 for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh!!

Spina Bifida Summer Festival

eKidzCare was a proud sponsor of the 2014 Spina Bifida Summer Festival held on Saturday, August 16th at Franklin Park. eKidzCare staff had a great time working the temporary tattoo and  first aid tables at the event!

Miracle League

Pasta Dinner at The Pittsburgh Ronald McDonald House

On June 12th, 2014 eKidzCare team cooked a pasta dinner for families and patients staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Pittsburgh. Our team cooked pasta, meatballs, garlic bread, salad, and cookies for kids to decorate! We always enjoy our time volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House, cant wait to do it again!!

CICU, NICU, & PICU Lunch at Children’s Hospital

eKidzCare was happy to provide lunch and travel kits to families and guests of the CICU, NICU, & PICU at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. We can’t wait to go back and do it again!

iPad Donation to The Children’s Institute

eKidzCare had the opportunity to donate iPads to the Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh. iPads have revolutionized speech therapy, they are motivating and easy for the children to use. Many useful applications were created specifically for children’s therapy sessions. We are excited that the Children’s Institute is able to use the iPads on a daily basis to better the lives of the children they serve. http://www.amazingkids.org/

MDA Muscle Team Event

eKidzCare was invited to attend the Pittsburgh Muscle Team Event at Heinz Field on March 12, 2014. MDA  Ambassadors, Pittsburgh celebrities, and top business executives were in attendance, all to raise money for the Muscle Dystrophy Association . The evening consisted of interactive entertainment, a variety of food and beverage stations and silent and live auctions. 

MDA Muscle Walk

eKidzCare had the opportunity to sponsor and attend the Muscular Dystrophy Association Muscle Walk held on Sunday, March 2nd 2014 at the Pittsburgh Mills Mall. We walked to honor and raise funds for adults and children with any of the more than 40 muscle diseases in MDA’s program. The Muscular Dystrophy Association fosters research and provides vital services to families affected by neuromuscular disease. SEE MORE PHOTOS

eKidzCare Santa Visits

During the Holiday Season, eKidzCare is able to provide our families with a piece of the Holiday they normally are unable to participate in because of the acuity of their children’s illnesses. Santa and Mrs. Claus visit as many homes as they can and bring immense joy to our families. The kids receive a special gift and a photo to remember their special visit. Santa visits are an extremely rewarding part of the holiday season for the staff at eKidzCare.   MORE PHOTOS

Day at the Zoo

eKidzCare held our first annual eKidzCare day at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. Many of our families enjoyed a beautiful day, a catered lunch and guided tours at the zoo all courtesy of eKidzCare.  SEE MORE PHOTOS

Light Up Night Contest

The Meadville Office participated in an annual “Light Up Night” contest sponsored by the area Chamber of Commerce. This year’s theme was “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. The Meadville office staff dressed as the characters from the Dr. Seuss classic. To their surprise they won first place for “Best Theme”! Congratulations!
